The Crete-Monee Board of Education held its regular business meeting on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Final Construction Payment Approved: As part of the consent agenda, the board approved a final payment of $77,128.54 to Reed Construction. The payment covers 2024 renovation work completed over the summer at the Early Learning Center and Talala Elementary School.

The district announced it will host an official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the facility on Friday, May 8, 2026.
