The Crete-Monee varsity softball team’s high-powered offense hit a sudden roadblock on Friday as host Argo tossed a five-inning no-hitter, dealing Crete-Monee a 10-0 non-conference loss in Summit.

Argo capitalized early and often, jumping out to a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning and breaking the game wide open with a five-run surge in the second.
