P&Z Approves Lockport Bounce House Business Expansion
Will County Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting | April 7, 2026
The commission unanimously approved Zoning Case #ZC-25-137 for Victor H. Lule Huerta, owner of 3262 S. State Street in Lockport Township. The applicant requested a map amendment from R-4 (Single-Family Residential) to C-3 (General Commercial) to expand his existing party equipment and bounce house rental business.
To accommodate the small, 9,939-square-foot lot, the commission also approved multiple variances, including reducing the street yard setback on Grand View Place to 1.05 feet and the State Street setback to 68 feet. Additional variances were granted to increase perimeter privacy fence heights to 7 feet to ensure outdoor storage is properly screened from the public right-of-way.
