New Police Officer Sworn In

Officer Colton Peterson was sworn in as the newest member of the Monee Police Department. Trustee Scott Youdris noted that with Peterson’s hiring, the department has reached its authorized headcount of 26 officers for the first time in five years. Youdris stated that proactive policing is increasing and violent crime continues to drop.
