Planning & Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting | December 17, 2025
The Monee Planning and Zoning Board of Appeals met on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025, to address residential and industrial zoning matters. Lindstrom Appointed Chair:
With Chairperson Bettenhausen absent from the meeting, the board voted unanimously to appoint member Ron Lindstrom to serve as the acting chair for the December 17 session. The roll call showed members Brophy, Cole, Lehnerer, Lindstrom, Trevino, and West present, with Bettenhausen and Culp absent.
November Minutes Approved:
The board approved the minutes from the regular meeting held on November 19, 2025. The vote passed with member Trevino casting the lone “no” vote. The approved minutes recapped the board’s previous support for an industrial storage project on Industrial Drive.
Next Meeting Date:
Following the approval of the Pecho variance, the board directed the applicant to attend the next Village Board meeting for a final decision. That meeting is scheduled for January 14, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. The Planning and Zoning Board adjourned their session at 6:09 p.m. (per the approved November minutes format) or shortly after the conclusion of the public hearing.
