The Monee Village Board on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, announced the highly anticipated opening of the village’s new Public Works building.
Trustee Doug Horne encouraged all residents to attend the open house this Saturday, October 11, from 9 a.m. to noon at the new facility located at 5755 West Industrial Drive.
“This is a proud moment for our community,” Horne said. “Come take a behind-the-scenes tour of the new facility… and learn more about the services that support our roads, water systems, facilities, and more.”
The event will feature coffee and donuts, and staff will be on hand to answer questions about the department’s operations.
