Fall Fest Participation:
The Board finalized plans to participate in the Monee Fall Fest on Saturday, September 6, 2025. The township will utilize a truck from the Highway Commissioner’s Office to carry officials in the parade. Supervisor Dettbarn, Clerk Lathan, Collector Ronald Poindexter, and Trustees Burgess and Boles agreed to participate. Officials will meet at 10:30 a.m. to decorate the truck.

Shred Day Approved:
Trustees voted 5-0 to approve a budget of $1,200 for a “Shred Day” event. The service is scheduled for Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

CPR Class Cancelled:
A CPR class previously scheduled for August 23 was cancelled by the Red Cross. The Board noted the event may be rescheduled for September 20, 2025.

Emergency Assistance Stats:
During the Supervisor’s Report, Dettbarn noted that from July 15 to August 13, the township processed nine intakes and five applications. While no General Assistance funds were distributed, the township provided $4,866.17 in Emergency Assistance (EA). The food pantry served 52 residents during this period.
