Meeting Summary:
The Monee Village Board of Trustees met on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, to address significant financial and development matters. The meeting opened with a public hearing regarding the expansion of TIF District 5, which was continued to the next meeting to allow for further process. The board formally adopted a municipal grocery tax to replace the expired state tax, ensuring the village retains revenue potential from future grocery developments.
