The meeting featured a mid-term reorganization of the board’s leadership, with Jamie Zite-Stumbris taking over as Vice President and Janine Woolfolk stepping in as Secretary. The board also celebrated a presentation from the University Park Youth Athletic Association and reviewed several financial and personnel items. The board unanimously approved the evening’s consent agenda, which included the monthly financial report showing $3,223,440.54 in total bills for March.

New Assistant Principal Hired: The board unanimously approved an employment contract for Brenlin Maple-Montgomery to serve as the new Assistant Principal at Monee Elementary School. According to the approved personnel report, Maple-Montgomery will begin the position on July 1, 2026, at an annual salary of $80,000.

Final Construction Payment Approved: As part of the consent agenda, the board approved a final payment of $77,128.54 to Reed Construction. The payment covers 2024 renovation work completed over the summer at the Early Learning Center and Talala Elementary School.
