Approximately 16% of respondents indicated no preference.
“The district carefully reviewed all comments and appreciates the time and thought that went into providing feedback,” Dr. Perkins said, reading a communication sent to staff.
The calendar committee is expected to meet again to discuss the results and bring a final recommendation to the Board of Education at the February meeting. Additionally, the district is monitoring potential legislative changes that could make November 3, 2026, an official midterm election holiday.
