Arrest made in 2021 RNC, DNC pipe bomb case

The FBI has reportedly arrested a suspect in relation to pipe bombs planted outside the Democratic and Republican National Committee headquarters in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 5, 2021.
According to multiple reports, the bureau took a male subject into custody Thursday morning in Northern Virginia.
The pipe bombs were planted on the eve of the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol riots but were not detonated. Both the RNC and DNC are located within blocks of each other and the U.S. Capitol.
